Is there a final boss page per phase?
Not in P0. This hub + eat prep. Named entity pages are P1.
Shroom and Gloom boss guide: Megashroom, Gloom Worm, Lekker Limbs, and how eating beats blocking in the last room. Steam EA 3271280. Verified Sep 2026.
Named bosses and the eat-the-final-boss plan.

This Shroom and Gloom boss page is named fights and eat-to-heal prep, not a 34-row DPS sheet. Quests name Megashroom and Lekker Limbs. Community databases add Gloom Worm variants, MegaLeg series, Moss Boss, and more on a snapshot build. Shroom and Gloom from Team Lazerbeam, published by Devolver Digital, Steam Early Access September 10, 2026 (App 3271280). Verified September 12, 2026.
Official design still applies in the last room: less blocking, more eating. Arrive with roast lined up, Warmth paid, and a Combat pile that cycles. Snapshot HP (community: 999-class Gloom Worm) is not Steam law. Store: Steam listing. Heal chain: eat & soup.
| Name | Why it matters | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Megashroom | Quest: Want Some More → character | Evolving variants in snapshot DB |
| Lekker Limbs | Quest: First Course → pack | Thorns tag in snapshot |
| Gloom Worm | Deep / final-adjacent | High HP snapshot; Spellshield variants |
| MegaLeg series | Limb / support / assault roles | Snapshot names — verify in-game |
| Moss Boss | Named in community lists | Snapshot — not a P0 entity page |
| Path bosses | Facility vs Forgotten unique enemies | Do not share one script |
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
Players searching shroom and gloom boss want the last room, not a 76-enemy wiki. P0 names the fights quests and public footage already use. Megashroom and Lekker Limbs are quest-locked. Community lists add Gloom Worm V1–V3, Megashroom versions, MegaLeg 01–05, Moss Boss. Print those as snapshot names, not a complete bestiary. Full enemy wiki is P1.
If you only need unlocks, kill what the journal names. If you only need a win condition, treat the last fungal body as a roast target with extra tags. Do not memorize 34 HP rows. Playable classes (Paperboy + unlocks). Early Access · Sep 10, 2026.
A Shroom and Gloom boss search is usually two jobs glued together: “what is the last room called” and “why did I die with a full block fantasy.” This page splits them. Names come from quests and public footage. Survival comes from the same eat chain as the hallway. If a YouTube overlay prints 999 HP and Spellshield, treat that as one run’s inspect, then re-read yours. Evolving bodies especially will not keep the screenshot you paused at 11:05.
When you are stuck, name the tell before you name the DPS. Thorns means the leftover timing is part of the fight. Spellshield means roast may not be legal yet. Limb snapshot names mean the room might be a role check, not a single bar. Then go back to Combat cycling and Explore reaching the door. Dual piles still decide whether you arrive: decks.
Want Some More wants Megashroom. First Course wants Lekker Limbs. Gloom Walker wants you to reach The Gloom, which is where worm-class fights live conceptually. Journal first: quests.
No per-phase HP. No invented attack rotations. Class kits live on characters. Dual-deck split lives on decks. Here we only name the fights, the eat prep, and the tags you should inspect.
Same heal as the hallway: season, skewer, or roast, then eat — or pot roasted bodies into soup. Blocking is still the wrong instinct. Dual decks still need Explore tools to reach the room. Warmth still pays the walk. A grown starter attack beats an unread rare that bricks the pile.
Bank a leftover (community: Toasty) if the named fight is the next room. Soup if Headpoints are stable and roasted bodies are spare. Feed Fireballs if Paperboy still needs Burning Sensation. Lunch Lady is not required; eating is a Combat verb on Paperboy too.

| Prep | Why |
|---|---|
| Roast line in Combat | Heal stays on during the fight |
| Warmth paid | Hazards should not outpace soup |
| Grown starter attack | Unread rares brick the pile |
| Foresight that fires in combat or on kill | Idle passives waste the slot |
| Explore keys for the route | You cannot eat a boss you cannot reach |
If you cannot roast a pack, you will not roast Megashroom. Practice the verb before the door. Foresight that only fires on feed still wants that same kitchen: foresight.
Snapshot DB tags: Evolving, Spellshield, Thorns, Limb, Gutsy, Mossy, Airborne (community: 50% less damage — unverified here). If inspect disagrees, inspect wins. Do not plan a 999 HP Gloom Worm as if we measured it.
Evolving means the body may not keep the first inspect you screenshotted. Spellshield means your roast line may bounce until the tag drops. Thorns means eating the wrong leftover timing can tax Headpoints you needed for the next chew. Limb language shows up on MegaLeg snapshot names — treat roles as labels, not a rotation chart.

The joke of this game is that you can still eat the problem. Tags change when you chew, not whether you chew. If Spellshield is up, spend a Combat turn making roast legal, then eat. Do not switch to a block wall because the bar is large.
Community runs show eating final-boss pieces. Treat it as the heal verb staying legal, not a guaranteed stew skip. AP / curse / limb talk in older guides is TBA until we recapture the current EA final.
If the last room still lets you roast, the cooking page is still the script. If a patch removes eat on a named body, the inspect wins. Do not write a “eat the Gloom skip” as a strategy until your build shows the leftover.
A pot at 2 Headpoints with empty pockets is still a vanity project. Bank chew, then pot if the fight is long. Exact soup names stay TBA on cooking.
Official: two pathways, unique enemies and rewards. Facility vs Forgotten Path will not share one boss script. Metal, gunk, machines, and digital locks are a different Explore verb set than mossy tunnels. Two EA pathways (~300 explore + combat cards each). See paths.
Janitor leans Facility. Paperboy warmth language leans Forgotten Path. That is a lean, not a hard lock, until a patch notes class-path bans. A third / final path is on the 12–24 month EA roadmap — no calendar promise here.
Snapshot journal: First Course = defeat Lekker Limbs → card pack. Want Some More = defeat Megashroom → new character. Other rows (Adventurous, Armed, Camper, Need For Feed) are discovery / feed / camp, not boss pages. Confirm in your journal — numbers shift.
Do not spend a run hunting Megashroom when you actually wanted a discovery pack. Do not skip roast drills because a character quest is “just a kill.” The kill still wants the eat chain.
| Quest (snapshot) | Boss / condition | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| First Course | Defeat Lekker Limbs | Card pack |
| Want Some More | Defeat Megashroom | New character |
| Gloom Walker | Reach the gloom | New path (not a named HP bar) |
Next: route the pathway that actually owns that fight on paths.
